VINS participated in Bio Asia - 2005 organised jointly by the All India Biotech Association and the government of Andhra Pradesh. VINS was a Gold sponsor of the international conference Bio Asia 2005, held between February 10 - 12 in Hyderabad. |
The objective of the conference was to promote biotechnology by bringing together scientists, technocrats, industry and governments on a common platform. |
70 internationally eminent speakers from 30 countries including India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Australia, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK and the USA addressed the delegates. |

Prof. David A. Warrell, M. A., D. M., D. Sc., F. R. C. P., F. R. C. P. E., F. Med. Sci., is currently the Professor of Tropical Medicine & Infectious Diseases at the University of Oxford. He has done pioneering research on the treatment of snakebites and rabies and is the world’s leading authority on the subject. Prof. David Warrell is an advisor to VINS. |

| VINS unveils Anti Rabies Serum (ARS). |
VINS has developed a number of anti-sera, which are to be launched in a phased manner during the year 2005-06. According to WHO rabies is regional problem with India, Pakistan and Bangladesh accounting for 75% of rabies deaths in the world. |
WHO also recommends that administering ARS is a ‘must’ in all Category III and immuno-compromised Category II rabid dog bites. |
It is in this background that VINS launched its second sera product Anti Rabies Serum during Bio Asia - 2005. |
| Collaboration with Indian Immunologicals Ltd. |

VINS entered into a collaboration agreement with Indian Immunologicals Ltd. (IIL), a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Dairy Development Board. Under the agreement Human Biologicals Institute, a division of IIL will market anti rabies serum manufactured by VINS under its brand name Abhayrig. IIL will promote the product through its 2000 Abhay Clinics co-branding it with its anti rabies vaccine Abhayrab. |

| Indo-Africa Pharma Business Meet 2009

As part of ‘Brand India Compaign’, Pharmexcil organized 3 day ‘Indo-Africa
Pharma Business Meet’ from September 25-27, 2009 at Hotel Marriott, HYDERABAD.
About 80 delegates comprising drug regulators, importers/ buyers and
media personnel from 15 African countries namely Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda,
Tanzania, Botswana, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Libya, Mozambique, Algeria,
Benin, Tunisia, South Africa and Zambia participated at the event. In total
about 600 participants attended the business meet during the 3 days in the
buyer/seller meet and technical sessions.
VINS Bioproducts Limited was one of the sponsors for this imperative
pharma occasion. Our stall was well appreciated by most of the
international delegates as well as by the Indian industry.
Our world-class manufacturing facility was visited and treasured for
following global standards in antisera manufacturing by Mr. Paul B. Ohrii
(Director General- NAFDAC, Nigeria) with 10 Nigerian delegates and media.
We received encouraging response from all the countries and expecting
the business collaboration with them in coming days.
